Arcadia became a city in 1951 and it's current population is estimated to be approximately 54,000. T11.2 square mile city is located twenty miles east of LA. The beautiful homes and green spaces give the city a friendly atmosphere and has been designated as a Tree City for ten years in a row.

 

 

With well established traditions and comunity standards, Arcadia is proud of it's heritage and excellent standard of living. From Arcadia's schools that receive some of the top marks in the region, and plenty of recrational activites, Arcadia is a very desirable community to live in.

 

The Arboretum is definately a location that you want to stop at if you are just passing through Arcadia, and a source of pride for redients. The 127- acre  stretch is a vast botanical garden with lush reserves of exotic and native plants. Thousands of varieties of plants have been carefully cultivated in this southern california paradise.

The Santa Anita Park and it's races conjure romatic images of excitement and fun. With daily races through the spring and fall this race track is now a family oriented event with picnics spaces available.
