Annualy this community of about gathers together for its "Cherry Valley Festival" which has been a city tradition since 1918. As you can gather by the name, this city has a number of cherry orchards both commercial and public. During the season you can go to alot of these public orchards and pick cherries yourself!
Also nestled in the hills, is the Edward-Dean Museum, established in the late 1950's this museum is home to modern decorative arts randinge from the 1600's through 1900's. Through the museum website you can even schedule guided tours.
There is also an exclusive golf course tucked away in Cherry Valley called Highland Springs Village Golf Course. This is a private 9 hole course, with a par of 28. |
